Minyaa's Installation Procedure

The installation procedure of Minyaa Suite has been greatly improved and simplified since Kaamelot.

Installing Minyaa still requires many changes in JIRA, but the majority of them are now done automatically.

Different steps have to be followed depending on the way you deployed your JIRA.

The main installation scenarios are :

  • Installation with a already deployed WAR JIRA (Tomcat or JIRA Standalone).
  • Installation with a already deployed WAR JIRA (Tomcat or JIRA Standalone).
  • Installation using a self-built WAR file.
  • Installation with Import of XML Backup with Kaamelot Data.

Installation with an already deployed JIRA

The procedure is applicable when JIRA is already deployed (Standalone installation or Tomcat based installation).

For this procedure, Kaamelot plugin should not have already installed. In other case, follow Import of XML Backup with Kaamelot Data.

Installation using a self-built WAR file

The procedure is applicable when you decide to built a new WAR file using the JIRA WAR/EAR.

For this procedure, Kaamelot plugin should not have already installed. In other case, follow Import of XML Backup with Kaamelot Data.

Installation with Import of XML Backup with Kaamelot Data.

The procedure is applicable when you have to migrate a JIRA Instance where was installed Kaamelot plugin, to a JIRA Instance with Minyaa.
