User Group Picker CustomField

Since Minyaa 3.3.18, the User Group Picker customField is deprecated.

All implemented customfields are migrate to the native User Picker, where the selected Groups are applied as parameters.

Note, that any new customfield based on User Group Picker will not be converted automatically.

What is it?

This custom field is a User Picker allowing you to restrict user depending on their group membership.

Configure a User Picker By Permissions Custom Field

To configure a User Group Picker CustomField, process as follow :

  1. Add a new User Group Picker



    Add.RegExpTextCFType



  2. Specify its name and its description



    Create.UserGroupCFType



  3. Click the Configure link:

    Manage.UserGroupCFType



  4. Click the Edit Default Value link:

    Manage.RegExpTextCFType.EditDefaultValue



  5. In the Set Custom Field Defaults page, you have to define:

    • a default user that is part of your specified groups (optional)
    • a list of user groups from which user selection is allowed

    Configure.UserGroupCFType



  6. You are now ready to use the User Group Picker CustomField in your screens
